WHO ARE WE? We are a private residential centre catering for groups of students interested in studying the geological features and processes unique to this area. So unique they qualify as the only natural world heritage site in UK.
PURPOSE OF THIS WEB SITE? The purpose of this web site is to illustrate to science teacher(and science enthusiasts)the contents of our residential course, so they may confidently book a residential fieldtrip directly related to work taught in class and their curriculum in Geography,Geology,Biology,and Environmental Science.
LOCAL KNOWLEDGE Take Advantage of the enthusiasm of our lectures with their local Knowledge.We offer a broad range of residential courses for students of all ages. Our Field sessions are curriculum linked to provide students with appropriate practical field experience and skill.
ALTERNATIVELY RUN YOUR OWN PROGRAMME We also welcome groups who wish to run their own programmes from here. To those we offer full board, accommodation and indoor classroom facilities. They can also call upon tutors for their special knowledge of our outdoor classroom.
OUR CUSTOMERS? In term time our customers are schools and universities. At other times we welcome groups from all sorts of societies and associations, home and abroad. In the holidays we offer foreign students a glimpse of English life in the South West as well as formal lessons inEnglish.
